Mission
Living Well is an interdisciplinary program conducted by the College of Health and Human Performance. The three major goals of the program are to provide:
A work-site wellness program for faculty and staff. This includes individualized fitness instruction fitness assessments, medical screenings and informational presentations that focus on various health-related issues. Work-site wellness programs like Living Well have shown to reduce employee health care costs, boost morale among employees, lower absenteeism and establish health behaviors associated with increased productivity.
Educational experiences for students majoring in various university programs including students in the departments of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, Health Education and Behavior, Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management, and more. More than 100 students annually receive academic credit for educational activities specifically related to Living Well.
A research laboratory to study the effect of exercise on health and aging. These are typically interdisciplinary research projects involving faculty and students from the Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and the College of Medicine.
Location: Living Well is located on the east side of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Yon Hall.

Friday 6:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Sunday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Parking Info
Free Parking is available to Living Well members just outside the facility. Please find a spot, come inside and ask a staff member for a parking pass. Parking is limited so we please ask that you only occupy a parking spot while you are working out. Thank you.
